It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Steven, affectionately known as Steve, on Wednesday, 31st January 2024, at home. He was 62 years old.
Steve leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was the adored husband of Karen, a beacon of strength and love in her life. Steven was also the much-loved son of Hannah and the late Sandy, and a devoted brother to Gillian. His presence brought warmth and joy to his family, and his memory will forever be cherished.
In addition to his immediate family, Steve was a beloved brother-in-law to Graham, a special friend to Robbie, and a much-loved nephew and cousin. His impact on those around him was profound and enduring.
Steve embraced his role as a stepfather with unwavering love and dedication. He leaves behind fond memories for James and Matthew, and stepdaughter-in-law Marianne, and cherished grandchildren Khloe and Alfie, who affectionately knew him as Papa Steve.
A celebration of Steve's remarkable life will take place at Hazelhead West Chapel on the 20th of February 2024 at 1:15 pm. We invite all friends to join us in honouring his memory and sharing stories of his incredible journey. Family flowers only please.  There will be an opportunity to donate to Steve's favourite charity if you choose to do so.
As we come together to celebrate Steve's life, let us remember the laughter, love, and light he brought into our lives. May his spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever.
